Vivid Lash Boutique has a unique way of creating their Classic Wet Lashes to feel lighter and last even longer than the traditional Classic Lashes. This is achieved by using different lash fibres and a more advanced placement technique.
The result is the same natural 'Classic' look—now with added benefits. The finish typically resembles 1–2 coats of mascara but can be enhanced for a darker effect, similar to 3–4 coats. Just let us know your preferred look.
Hybrid Lashes combine the softness of Classic lashes with the fullness of Russian Volume, creating a textured, wispy look that’s both natural and defined. Perfect for those wanting subtle volume with a bit more impact, they feel feather-light and often last longer than a standard Classic set.
Russian Volume lashes are designed to dramatically enhance your eyes with a fuller, fluffier, and more luxurious lash line—without compromising comfort.
Using 2 to 8 ultra-light, hand-crafted lash fans applied to each natural lash, this technique creates a voluminous look that’s soft, airy, and never heavy. The result is a luxe, strip-lash effect that remains weightless and elegant.
Each set is fully customisable—whether you prefer a naturally enhanced look or full glamour.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
To ensure the best results and a smooth, comfortable experience, please follow the guidelines below:
Arrive with clean lashes: All makeup should be removed prior to your appointment using a non-oil-based cleanser. Please avoid waterproof makeup, including mascara and eyeshadow, for at least one week before your appointment.
Shower beforehand: It is recommended to shower prior to your appointment, as steam and water should be avoided for the remainder of the day after your service.
Prepare for downtime: As the procedure may take up to 2 hours, we suggest eating and using the restroom beforehand to ensure you're comfortable throughout.
For your comfort and the best results: Feel free to bring headphones and have music, podcast, or audiobook ready to listend to during your appointment. Staying relaxed and still helps us work more efficiently.
To Do:
Use an oil-free makeup remover to cleanse around your eyes.
Gently comb your lashes once a day to keep them neat and well-groomed.
After showering, blow-dry your lashes on a cool setting to maintain their fluffiness.
Wear goggles when swimming to protect your extensions.
Shower beforehand: It is recommended to shower prior to your appointment, as exposure to steam or water should be avoided for the rest of the day following your service.
Avoid:
Avoid swimming, saunas, or steam rooms for at least 48 hours after your appointment.
Do not rub, pick, pull, or play with your extensions.
Avoid mechanical eyelash curlers.
Avoid creams, oil-based products, or lotions near your lash line—including makeup and makeup removers.
Do not use waterproof or long-wearing eye makeup, as they require excessive handling and oil-based removers, which weaken the lash bond.
Lash extensions require regular maintenance. Refills are recommended every 2–4 weeks to replace lashes that have naturally shed or outgrown your lash line. Keep in mind that each of your natural lashes is at a different stage of its growth cycle, so refill timing may vary.
At Vivid Lash Boutique, Maree allocates refill appointments based on time, not weeks. Each refill has a set time limit to ensure all appointments run smoothly and on schedule. This also encourages clients to care for their lashes between visits.
To maximise your lashing time, please arrive on time and with clean lashes. Only 5 minutes is allocated for cleaning—any extra cleaning or late arrivals will cut into your appointment time, meaning fewer lashes may be applied.
During certain lash cycles, you may notice more shedding than usual. If this happens, please upgrade to a longer refill session to ensure enough time is allocated for the additional lashing required.
A professional adhesive remover must be used to safely detach extensions from your natural lashes. Do not attempt to remove lash extensions yourself, as this can cause damage to your natural lashes. A trained technician can perform this service safely—please note a small removal fee may apply, and conditions may vary.
Whilst we use only premium-grade products and adhesive, allergic reactions—though rare—can occur. If you experience any irritation or sensitivity, please contact us immediately. We offer free removal within 48 hours of your appointment.
Please note: The original lashing fee will not be refunded, as the time, service, and products have already been provided. Reactions are unpredictable, and even clients with no previous sensitivity may develop an allergy over time.
As the lash industry grows, so do unqualified practitioners. For your safety and the health of your natural lashes, always research your technician’s work and qualifications. A certified, experienced professional is essential for safe, beautiful, and lasting results.
1. How long do lash extensions last?
With proper care and regular refills every 2–4 weeks, lash extensions can last indefinitely. Clients who maintain their lashes well tend to get the best longevity.
2. How long is each appointment?
Full sets take 60–150 minutes, depending on the style. Refills range from 30–90 minutes, based on the refill booked.
To get the most out of your session, please arrive on time with clean lashes. Only 5 minutes is allowed for cleaning—any delay will reduce lashing time.
3. Can you refill lashes from another salon?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer refills on work done by other salons. However, you’re welcome to book a removal along with a full set, and we’ll begin a fresh, customised lash journey tailored just for you.
4. What if I have an allergic reaction?
Some clients may react to the adhesive (cyanoacrylate) or eye pads. A patch test is available on request (additional fee applies).
Reactions may occur immediately or develop a few days after your appointment. If you notice any eyelid swelling and itching, please contact us promptly. We’ll help determine whether it’s an allergic reaction to the adhesive or an allergy to something else. Although the symptoms may be similar, an allergy vs allergic reaction are actually different.
If necessary, we’re happy to offer a complimentary removal.
Please note: service fees are non-refundable, and once an allergy develops, it's likely you will react to all lash adhesives moving forward.
